Buxton, Inc. has been known for their excellent building for years. Let us explain our time-tested process. Before we ever bid a plan, we meet with the customer to determine just what they want and expect in their new home. We, with the customer's input, prepare a detailed specification worksheet for use in our cost analysis process. This information is then passed on to our subcontractors and suppliers, who price the project with your specifications in mind. We price every board, window, brick, etc., that goes into your home. We put all of our research into the front end of the project so the customer will have a true picture of what his project will cost. Some builders may give you a bid the next day; we maintain it's not possible to do the required research in that amount of time. Our cost analyses take about a week to complete - so you can be sure that everything that is going into your home has been assigned a price. We don't want you to have any surprises at the end of the project. The only changes to the price that we submit to you at the start of the project are the changes or extras that you request. So you are one that determines the price!
Once we have completed the cost analysis process, we prepare contracts that are designed to protect both of us, along with a detailed specification list that lets you know exactly what is included in the price. The more information we can get to you up front, the more equipped you will be to handle future decisions.
